On the day when the Soviet astronaut Yuri Gagarin flew into space in 1961 - 12 April, in Russia and around the world people mark the Day of Cosmonautics.

Every year in kindergarten Sadko we organize a celebration of this significant date in cooperation with the Russian international school "Valentina Tereshkova". Children become familiar with Russian astronauts and their achievements, make rockets and draw planets. In this way, through play, they learn who were the astronauts who first flew into space, who are the dogs Belka and Strelka and how long was the first flight of Yuri Gagarin.
